The Prime Times

Dear friend of DeakinPrime

Welcome to our final edition of Prime Times for 2016.

It's been a great year for DeakinPrime. In 2016 we cemented our leadership programs with the launch of our new Diploma of Leadership and Management that picked up two awards from LearnX.   We also continued to invest in our R&D initiative 'Gauge'—a cloud-based tool that supports the assessment of capability and performance against a set of criteria.

Our new continuing professional development solution for financial advisers 'PROPEL' has been well received, especially in light of the recent announcement from the Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, the Hon Kelly O’Dwyer MP, who introduced legislation into Parliament to mandate professional standards for financial advisers. We welcome the focus on increasing the education standards for the financial planning industry.

We had the privilege again of welcoming Charles Jennings and Nigel Paine to some well-attended events. Charles will be visiting us for a fish bowl event on Thursday, 23 February 2017, so keep an eye on our website for further details in the new year.

On behalf of everyone at DeakinPrime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients, consultants and partners for their efforts and contribution to our success in 2016. I wish you all the best for a fantastic Christmas, and a well-earned break, and we all look forward to continuing to work with you in 2017 in our new offices at Level 12, 727 Collins Street.

Best regards

Simon Hann
